History

Imperial Engineering & Consulting, LLC is located in the energy corridor/ Katy Area of Houston, Texas and was founded in 2013 to provide cost effective, best-in-class engineering solutions and project management services.  The principal Mr. Rajan Rekhi has over 25 years of experience in the engineering design and project management of onshore and offshore, shallow water & deep water, drilling & production, oil &  gas platforms /structures; Spars, Semi-Submersibles, Jack-Up Rigs, Drilling Rigs, Fixed Platforms and Topsides Decks for Fixed & Floating Platforms including FPSOs.  He has worked on all project phases; R&D, Pre-FEED/ conceptual, FEED, detailed engineering, installation & construction support and business development / proposals.  Using state of the art technologies, Mr. Rekhi has worked on world class multi-billion dollar projects for major EPC/EPCI companies located in Houston; Bechtel, Technip, Wood Group, WorleyParsons and as a consultant to oil & gas operating companies.  He has working experience with both Greenfield & Brownfield projects located all over the world.  Recent experience also includes working on DIsaster Recovery & Emergency Management.

Mr. Rekhi, is a graduate of the University of Texas in Mechanical Engineering with Graduate Studies in Mechanical & Structural Engineering from the University of Houston.  He is a Licensed / Professional Engineer (Structural) in the State of Texas and Licensed / Appointed Windstorm Inspector / Engineer and member of the Project Management Institure (PMI).
